Uganda is, with African dimensions, measured a small country, in size with Britain. Its nature is characterized by dense forests, beautiful lakes and impressive mountain ranges.
The largest parts are located on a high plateau about 1000 meters above sea level, which provides a pleasant climate all year round.
During your safari in Uganda, you visit a variety of National Parks such as Queen Elizabeth Park, Kibaale, Bwindi, among others.
These are homes to many species of animals, birds, insects, including the mighty gorillas. Still, are a number of great mountains, rivers and many more.

On arrival, you will meet your English speaking guide and many others of different languages for further transportation to your place of residence (Grand Imperial Hotel), where you will spend the night.
You will explore the city of Uganda (Kampala), feel its welcoming air, the beautiful people, the food that is filed with great aroma and lots of fun.
After that long memorable day, you will go back to the hotel for the night in preparation for the next day.
After our breakfast, we shall set to the west through the hilly landscape via the small town of Mubende.
It takes a two-hour detour through the tomb of Nakayima, a 400-year-old tree that is said to be home to a former king’s spirit.
Along the way, a picnic lunch is served. Late in the afternoon you can either relax at your lodge or visit a nearby Kratersjö. Other meals of the day are all prepared and served.

On foot through the dense forest, you search and follow the path of the loud chimpanzees through the tree crowns.
In the afternoon you will visit Bigodi to see the colorful birds inhabiting the wetland area. A number of tourism and nature conservation projects are ongoing in the area and have contributed to a new school.
Overnight: Ndali / Mantana, Kibale, all meals and other refreshments are catered for.
The program consists of a walk along the slopes of the Rwenzori mountain range, one of Africa’s most impressive mountain massifs with snow-covered peaks.
Alternatively, you drive directly to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The area for your safari is determined during the trip and is determined depending on the season and the weather.
You will also see the Kaseyeni plain with lions. The surroundings around the seven craters lakes in the northern part of the park are very beautiful but do not have an equally rich wildlife.
On the Mweya peninsula it is also easy to see big game like bushbuck, waterbuck and elephant. With a large amount of luck, there is also the chance to see leopard.

In the morning you can choose to do another chimpanzee trekking in the nearby Kyambura ravine. The chimpanzees move quickly and across large areas, but the reward is great when the trip is big.
You also visit the village near the lodge to meet the locals and learn more about the projects in progress in the countryside.
In the afternoon you can do a boat trip on the Kazinga canal with great opportunities to see hippo, buffalo and elephant.

You have a road trip through many remarkable historical sites, visit very many beautiful places, meet new people and other refreshing activities.

Tracking gorillas in the dense vegetation of Bwindi is a magical experience. If you are lucky you will find the gorillas, spend an hour with them and return to the lodge in good time for lunch.
In Bwindi, however, it is more common for gorilla groups to be hard to find and the walk can take all day, especially if it is rainy and muddy.

The last day of your safari in Uganda is a long journey by car on good roads back to Kampala. On the way you will stay for a picnic lunch. You will be back to your hotel in Kampala early in the evening.
