Queen Elizabeth National Park is undoubtedly Uganda’s most popular park. Here is an amazing wildlife, and the park is probably the place in the world, with the richest bird life and their species.
By comparison, the Kruger National Park, which is actually more than ten times larger, has only about 500 bird species compared to more than 600 of Uganda.
The park has everything one could wish for on a real safari in Africa, all big animals, 10 different species of primitive species, including chimpanzees, as well as all that the African landscape has to offer.
It is also populated with large Savannas, wetlands, lakes, mountains, dense forests and volcanoes.
The park is so varied that it is recommended to take several days in the park, and preferably stay in both the southern and northern part of the park.
The Queen Elizabeth National Park was established in 1954 and is currently cooperating with the park of the same name in England to promote the conservation of nature and wildlife in cooperation with the local population.
The north part of the park is the most visited, and in particular the Kyambura ravine is a large attraction, as there are really good chances to see chimpanzees here.(Uganda, The Pearl of Africa)
