This safari contains an unforgettable encounter with mountain gorillas in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in southwest Uganda.
The first day is from Kampala / Entebbe to the park, the other day is for trekking in the rainforest and the third is the return journey.
We travel by car through a very beautiful landscape in southwest Uganda to Buhoma in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Along the road, which goes partly through the Queen Elisabeth National Park (if weather permits) there are opportunities to see elephants, antelopes and tree climbing lions.
On the way we also see a wide variety of different landscapes with tea, small farmers, big grasslands and more.
In Bwindi we go hiking in the mountains with the help of special trackers and guides to meet a group of mountain gorillas found here. Bwindi has about half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
On our return we make a stop at the Equator for photography and the opportunity to buy souvenirs before returning to Kampala / Entebbe.
